Leywin Blighte is one of the most forward thinking nobles to have ever lived. Governing Asha until it’s declaration of independence from the Kingdom of Aisha, the city held one of the highest average standards of living in the whole Kingdom of Aisha.
Characteristics
Leywin Blighte is a drow elf. Rumors constantly circulated among other nobles that he was cursed by the gods at birth. However if Leywin’s character is anything to judge by, then it his physical appearance should be seen as a gift from the gods. It’s hard to say there is a more open minded and fair noble, especially to the common people. Among other things he is one of the few nobles I have had the pleasure of meeting.
Political Views
While Leywin supported Queen Zoe in her rule of the Kingdom of Aisha, he was equally vocal that the crown should need to abdicate its power and switch to another political system or it would be susceptible to bad actors. The royal court actually held him on trial for treason, but Queen Zoe found him not guilty despite the overwhelming evidence presented against him.
The Anti-Monarchists
As rumors of the Anti-monarchist party began to rise Leywin immediately distanced himself by speaking freely about the his support for the Queen. Despite this he was ultimately tangled up in the schemes of Cressida Windcrest. Today he resides in New Asha as part of the ruling party of Cressida. While he enjoys independence he hopes that one day the Kingdom of Aisha and Cressida will be unquestionable allies.
