The largest known system of mountains, the Eagle Mountains, is the largest geographical monument that has been discovered to date. Most of the mountains are cold and rugged, dividing the generally favorable and fertile land to the east and the harsh desert to the west.

Perhaps the most well known feature of the Eagle Mountains is the sheer number of powerful monsters that inhabit its peaks. Few in history have the power to conquer these mountains and fewer still have ever found a reason to consider seeking out the deadly peaks.
Mythical Monsters of the Eagle Mountains
A few monsters of particular power are known to inhabit the Eagle Mountains. They’ve each earned their own name and infamous reputations, but one among them stands out. Said to be an eagle that covers large towns in its shadow, its more akin to a natural disaster that anything else. Its primary prey seems to be whales, which much to the dismay of sailors has seen the unfortunate capture of a few smaller ships at sea.

Although it has not been confirmed, artisans pass down tales of tremendous veins of magical ores and crystals. Some say that if it weren’t for the monsters the value of the veins are enough to make a lucky lad rich enough to buy the right to the throne of the Kingdom of Aisha.
